HOW LONG IS THE SHELF LIFE OF YOUR HANDMADE PRODUCTS?
Because of the antibacterial properties of these natural ingredients, these items cannot spoil! Amber glass is used to protect the ingredients from changes that can be caused by UV rays. After time however, they may lose their effectiveness, and are recommended to be used within two years. I also recommend keeping them out of hot temperatures, as some of the products can melt or become runny.
WHAT IF I AM GETTING THIS FOR A MOM WHO WILL NOT BE BREASTFEEDING?
If you will not be breastfeeding, or are interested in a kit for a mother who will not be breastfeeding, the nipple butter in the small kit can be swapped out for a Blues Away roller bottle! I am currently working on modifications on the large kit to better support a non-breastfeeding mother.
DO YOUR PRODUCTS BENEFIT MOMS AFTER A C-SECTION?
Yes! Instructions for use after a c-section is included on the product labels and can still benefit recovery! The Peri Spritz may be more or less useful for a woman depending on her labor experience prior to c-section; a scheduled c-section may not result in as much perineal discomfort as an unplanned c-section after labor. However, the Peri Spritz is still very useful for cleansing and freshening up down there, and can even be used as a PooPourri substitute. ; )
